We offer a range of bikes for hire from half-day (4 hours) to daily and weekly rates.  Our mountain bikes are similar to these ...

  1. Hires commence and end at our depot at 49 Laguna Street, Boreen Point, though we can deliver and pickup locally for FREE if arrangements are made in advance
  2. All hires include safety helmet and cable lock/key for FREE
  3. Photo ID and/or a security deposit is required, and a signed standard rental agreement
  4. Payment by cash or EFTPOS (Mastercard and Visa) - a flat $2.50 fee applies to credit card transactions to help cover bank charges
  5. Minimum age for hirers is 18 years, though riders may be younger
  6. All hires (except 1/2 day) end at 4:30pm on the last day unless other arrangements are agreed and noted on your hire agreement
  7. A discount may apply for the hire of more than 2 bikes at the same time - please ask for details
  8. Absolutely no doubling allowed - one person only per bike
  9. Bicycles can be attractive to would-be thieves, so you must take necessary precautions when leaving hire bikes unattended - you will be charged a minimum $250 for lost bikes, regardless of the circumstances

Optional extras:

  • Front and rear lights, with batteries ($7 / hire)

Nearby to Kin Kin you may also gain access to the Noosa Trial network, a series of 8 hinterland routes suitable for walking and mountain biking.  For more information refer to the Sunshine Coast Council website here.

Our standard hire agreement will obligate you to acknowledge and agree to abide by Queensland's Road Rules for Cyclists, a summmary of which will be given to you.  For full details, please refer here, but for your information these are the more significant requirements:

  • You must wear a helmet
  • You must have lights at night time and in poor weather
  • Only one person per bike, unless the bike has a separate seat
  • Various rules on keeping left and positioning on the road and footpath
  • While riding you must sit astride the seat and hold on to the handlebars with at least one hand
  • You can not hold on to a moving vehicle while riding
